A former massage parlour owner is facing murder charges in the death of his wife.
The wife, who worked as a massage therapist at the parlor, allegedly stabbed her husband to death on August 5.
The incident was reported to the police on September 6.
A woman named Prasanna was arrested at her home in New Delhi.
Prasannabh Thakur was charged with murder and was being held at the Bailor Colony police station.
The two were married on September 4, 2012.
The accused, Prasnanabh, allegedly told police that his wife was a good masseuse and that she took care of his body.
Prasaannabha, a mother of two, was an employee at the massage parlthere, according to police.
The alleged murder case was registered on September 9 and the accused was booked under various sections of IPC, including murder.
Prasiannabhas wife was reportedly employed by the family in a separate place in New Rajasthan.
The Parlour and Bath House was run by Prasnans wife, and her husband was an assistant manager.
Praseanabha’s son, Nandini, was also employed in the business.
The family is reportedly living in a rented house in New Dehradun, which is close to the Bhopal railway station.
The Bhopals police have arrested two other men in connection with the case.
They have been booked under sections 354 (murder), 302 (attempt to murder), 376 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 354 (possession of firearm for dangerous purpose).
They have also been charged under various other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
