It’s not the first time a spa has been credited for helping with anorexia.
In 2017, the spa of the same name in Los Angeles, California, was credited with curing a massive case of anorexic disorder.
“I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done, for the people who are going through it,” the spa’s founder, Sarah Ettelstrom, told the Los Angeles Times at the time.
“It’s a way of giving them something they haven’t had for a long time.”
Now, another spa is looking to capitalize on the trend.
The new spa, Zen Massage Oil, has received glowing reviews from customers.
According to the New York Times, it “supports your body in many ways, including providing a natural-sounding massage for those who struggle with anxiety and depression.”
The spa has also been credited with alleviating depression and anxiety among those who are struggling with eating disorders.
But if you’re struggling with an eating disorder and want to try Zen Massages, you’ll need to pay about $400 for the entire course.
But don’t let that dissuade you.
It’s also free to try.
“For anyone who’s struggling with food and wants to try the spa and see what it’s all about, you’re going to feel really good about yourself,” Ettelsmanson told the Times.
“You can feel empowered to take control of your health.”
